Jessie is another of our Biggest Loser contestants, and the winner. In 12 weeks she went from 87.3kg down to 73.3kg, a huge massive 14.6kg loss.

Rose joined as as part of our Biggest Loser compertition. In just 12 weeks she went from 81.5kg down to 70.3kg, a fantastic 11.2kg loss.

Denise was our third Biggest Loser contestant, and another sucess. She went from 79.4kg down to 68.9kg, that's a loss of 10.5kg in only 12 weeks!

Has lossed 17.0kg in just 12 weeks!

This is what she has to say about Women In Motion...

After much deliberation about when and how I was going to lose my baby weight following 2 pregnancies a kind neighbor and friend suggested I join her gym, Women In Motion.  Having not been much of a gym-goer in the past I was a bit hesitant however decided to take the bull by the horns and have never looked back.  I joined the Smart Shape program and over the last 3 months have managed to lose 16kg!  Karen, Rox and Michaela are a tribute to my weight loss with their fantastic support, knowledge and personable approach being the driving force behind my motivation.  I found the thing that worked for me best was variety in my workouts.  At first I came to 2 or 3 step classes a week (and mixing with some indoor and outdoor netball) until I was confident enough to approach the cardio machines, once I had a grasp on these it was all about getting a good mix of them, upping the intensity and chucking in the odd plate session here and there for strength and toning.  Now I’m proud to say I’m actually running – until now I have never run for fitness in my life!!!  At WIM I feel at ease and enjoy working out with other like-minded women.  I really look forward to my next work-out as a bit of ‘me’ time.  My family are also enjoying the benefits of my new hobby because as we all know happy mum = happy home.

Great wee studio where I feel cared for and welcomed every time I walk in.
 I can ask anything, any time and get the support and advice I need and my knee which has given me ongoing problems is  much improved as is my flexibility and fitness thanks to the care, attention  and guidance of the staff.

Loving the classes, I’m feeling so much better and I can now run up the stairs where before I hobbled because of my sore knees. I can see the grooves of my muscles and have lost that annoying roll around my middle.

Wow, I’m surprised that in just 8 weeks  my clothes are fitting better  and how much fitter I feel. I can now easily row 4kms. And can’t wait to email the news to my daughter over seas.                                                                     Carol Jane
